About us:
Steven Landseadel is a seasoned and certified wild edible mushroom expert located on Florida's Gulf Coast. Growing up in the swamps and cow fields of the 70's, he was fascinated with wildlife and the backdrop of the forest. Fast forward 40 years, witnessing the drastic destruction of old Florida habitat, he no longer sees the forest as only the backdrop. The forests are the heart and lungs of this planet, the swamps and marshes are the liver. Every organism, down to one celled slime molds, they are all connected. You can use those connections to find and identify most choice edible mushrooms. So whether you're looking to find food or just learn about mushrooms, "I got a spot, or I got a story" for you

Observe the secrets of the forest as we learn the features and associated environments that help us confidently identify the mushrooms of the season. You choose the day and time, Steven will find the spot to best suit your groups needs.

The last Sunday of each month we get together and explore new ecosystems and attempt to find delicious mushrooms. You will learn how to identify what is currently growing and learn abut the environments.
